What is gfortran ?
gfortran is the GPL fortran compiler that is part of GCC.
It is a full featured F95 compiler that is the replacement for g77.
F2005 and F2008 features are continually added to gfortran,
as are features and extensions that allow fortran code from
decades past to compile and run.
gfortran is volunteer supported.
